Ruckus presents Shitty Kutz

Well it’s been too long since we’ve had some good Ruckus content on the site. For those of you who don’t know, the Ruckus crew are some of my best friends and the people who helped me start Post22. They don’t care about skateboarding outside of Manteo, NC, but they rip harder than most.

If there is one thing you can’t deny about these guys, it’s that they have character. I say this with a lot of hesitation, but skateboarding needs more dudes like this.

A Very Ruckus Summer

Once again, I lent Durand Beasley my camera and told him to have fun with it, but this time for an entire summer. What I got back was a sandy camera covered in melted skate stickers and surf wax as well as a handful of tapes. Here’s the clip.

Ruckus Week

This is probably one of my favorite videos that I’ve made. It’s a good representation of who I grew up skating and filming with. We just skated, partied, and filmed for a solid week back in my hometown (Outer-Banks, NC), and we ended up with this clip. A Ruckus classic.

A mashup of footage filmed by myself and various Ruckus heads (handycam footage courtesy of Mikey).

A weekend with the Ruckus crew.

[quicktime name="ruckusweekend"]

I was living with Durand Beasley for a while in 2006. He went home for a weekend and was really hyped that I leant him my camera. Unfortunately he never learned the basics of attaching a fisheye lens so the footage came back very bro-cam. Anyways, here is another small glimpse into the lives of the Ruckus crew.
