During the sparse moments when I’m not worrying about video, I’ve been dabbling in still photography lately. This is the first time that I’ve ever played around with the RAW photo format and I must say that it’s very addicting. I’ve even been missing some good video shots in order to get a nice still to add to my collection. So be prepared to see many more photos in the future. For now, enjoy this test gallery.

I’ve been getting a lot of equipment-related questions lately, so I figured it would be helpful to write a quick article on what gear we have been using and why we are completely happy with our current setup. Read More

In case you haven’t heard, Raleigh is a damn cool city. And if you’ve been wondering why the site was down for so long, it’s for that reason. We’ve been enjoying the hell out of this place.
Now that we’ve got our new camera gear (much more on that later), we’ll be happily documenting and reporting all of the fun we have, skateboarding and beyond. This video is a glimpse of what’s been happening in our neck of the woods. Enjoy.

Ok, here’s the skinny. I released a teaser video for Film & Destroy on Post22.com recently, and the feedback came back as a unanimous “Looks cool! What the hell is it?”. If you were one of those confused viewers, then don’t worry. I didn’t even know what I was creating. I was just creating.

- We’re going with the more blog-like approach in order to deliver content faster and easier. I went from design to working implementation of this site in about two nights which gives me more time to worry about making videos.
- I’m trying out this ‘premium’ Vimeo service as a test run for embedding video content. Please leave some feedback regarding how you like to watch videos on your computer. Ie: Quicktime, Vimeo, Youtube, custom Flash players, etc…
- The site is modular and easily expansive. I wanted to put a bare-bones version of the site live at first and then add on the extra features as needed. I plan on having dedicated sections for photos, quick video clips, tutorials, forums (maybe), etc… Again, any feedback on this is greatly appreciated.
