A collection of some of my favorite clips from behind the scenes of Issue 20. I included some footage of us using our gear, so if you have any questions about that, just leave a comment. Enjoy!

Issue 20

For the Youtube impaired, here’s the Quicktime file

Incase we haven’t been clear about it in the past, we love North Carolina. That is the only reason why Post22 has been around for this long.  Working full time jobs and delivering these videos isn’t easy, but doing the way we want in the place we love is a worthy payoff. We really hope you enjoy our 20th issue and stay tuned as we shift our focus towards Film & Destroy.

Also, congratulations to Brett Abramsky for finishing a killer video. And welcome back Dan Murphy to Raleigh. Bout damn time. Read More

Issue 20 preview / quick note about Youtube

issue20

It may not seem like it, but we’ve been working mighty hard on Issue 20. I’ve said this a few times, so I’ve decided to show you the issue in its entirety as proof (as a Final Cut timeline screenshot of course).

The video will be here on February 3rd, but for those of you who just can’t wait, please enjoy this promo video starring none other than Sturgil Horn. Yeah. Start getting hyped.

Regarding Youtube – This probably isn’t worth mentioning, but that’s the fun of blogs right?

In the interest of mobile devices and my overall convenience, I’m going to start switching all Post22 videos over to Youtube.  This will mean more content and slightly lower video quality.  If you care or if you don’t care, leave a comment and let me know.  Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Ruckus presents Shitty Kutz

Well it’s been too long since we’ve had some good Ruckus content on the site. For those of you who don’t know, the Ruckus crew are some of my best friends and the people who helped me start Post22. They don’t care about skateboarding outside of Manteo, NC, but they rip harder than most.

If there is one thing you can’t deny about these guys, it’s that they have character. I say this with a lot of hesitation, but skateboarding needs more dudes like this.

Quick status check, some lost photos

Crusing

It’s been a busy month. Work has been taxing my brain, leaving me with a few sparse thoughts for Post22.  This isn’t necessarily a bad thing though. It’s given me more time to take a step back and harvest a bit of creativity for the site.

So no need to get scared that the site will fall into oblivion again.  The opposite is actually true. Aside from our full-time jobs, we’ve all been filming for Issue 20 and getting hyped for Brett’s video premiere.  The NC skate scene is thriving right now and we’re all loving every minute of it.

Anyways, here are a few photos that I dug up. Still working on a new clip. Enjoy. Read More

Some more local flavor

IMG_6628

During the sparse moments when I’m not worrying about video, I’ve been dabbling in still photography lately.  This is the first time that I’ve ever played around with the RAW photo format and I must say that it’s very addicting.  I’ve even been missing some good video shots in order to get a nice still to add to my collection. So be prepared to see many more photos in the future. For now, enjoy this test gallery.
