Ok, here’s the skinny. I released a teaser video for Film & Destroy on Post22.com recently, and the feedback came back as a unanimous “Looks cool! What the hell is it?”. If you were one of those confused viewers, then don’t worry. I didn’t even know what I was creating. I was just creating.
The truth is, we bought some new camera gear, captured a lot of skateboard footage, and needed an outlet for our content. And what better way to decide what that outlet should be then to create a promo video for it and pretend we know exactly what we’re doing? Well, after buying some much needed brainstorm-time, I’m happy to say that Film & Destroy is now something a bit more concrete.
First and foremost, the Film & Destroy brand was created to accompany Post22 and serve as a home for creative, skateboard-related content. In other words, a way to highlight film making, art, and general skate culture without bogging Post22.com down with my weird side-project videos like this:
However, forking Post22 into two brands is easier said than done. Being that I just started my new full-time job, it’s difficult enough to maintain one website. That being said, the solution is pretty obvious – force the die-hard skateboarders to digest artsy and geeky content and force the film nerds out there to watch some raw handy-cam skate footage. To be more clear, in addition to skateboard videos, Post22 will now have content related to film making, visual art, and music.
Oh yeah, about Film & Destroy. It’s the new full-length skate video from Post22. I should probably let the skaters know.

thanks alex! good to hear from you. F&D should be pretty sick. I haven’t been this excited about making videos since I got my GL1 almost a decade ago.
a fucken change cup…
I’m excited to see where this goes. Personally I like Quicktime…
Looks Great!! Love the quality of the new footage!
I haven’t forgotten about you Temp. If you could watch Vimeo at work, then I probably wouldn’t care too much. It will probably end up Vimeo with Quicktime link or visa versa.
what new camera equipment was purchased?
I was afraid Post 22 had perished forever. Glad to see you’re back, and with more art! The whole reason I loved your videos is because of the emphasis on art. The more Menikmati, North, and First Broadcast style skate videos, the better.
Fayett-nam!
