Much like when we officially began the project, we still don’t know exactly what Film & Destroy is or will become. The only thing we are certain about is that it’s going to be a film about skateboarding.
As it turns out, that is the only detail we need in order to get completely stoked about it. So while we blindly dive deeper into this project, we’ll be keeping you updated with our findings along the way. Here is the first of many Film & Destroy status check clips. Enjoy

Andy – thanks. 95% of it was filmed with the 7d.
Jeremy – haven’t typed your name in a while man. Takes some getting used to. Ty Rhode was Ty Rohde for about 5 years on P22.
You don’t film with HV30′s anymore?

James – We still use them, but this clip just happens to be mostly 7D footage. Film & Destroy will have a lot of HV30 footage. I personally don’t shoot with the HV30 anymore though.

I must say that you have transcended the border between skateboarding cinema and “non-skateboarding” cinema. Hands down, this is some of the realest documenting that I have ever seen (Over the past two years. I just procrastinated on this comment). I expect to see some iPhone 4 footy soon?
once again, very inspirational work! Great filming! I am going to buy that fisheye for my 7D and start filming! Are you using a rig or handle for the following stuff? I’d love to know how to kit out my 7D for skate filming. I currently use longer lenses on the 7D, and a DVX100A for the death lens stuff.
