What have I been up to?

Incase you haven’t noticed, I’ve been busy lately.  For the most part, Redhat has been taking up the majority of my time, but I’ve also had time to launch a website for my Dad’s artwork and do a bit of traveling.

Since my last post I’ve made my way to Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, NYC, and back home to the Outer-Banks.  Now I’m back in Raleigh, the weather is amazing, and I’m ready to skate.  So check out these photos and I’ll go make some videos asap.

    So you work for Red Hat? Do you use Linux for video editing?

    I work for Redhat, but I don’t use Linux for anything creative. I’d love to, but the OS isn’t quite there yet.

    Well, if you ever decide to go Linux full-time, try Kdenlive for video editing. Not the most advanced application, but it’s improving contantly.

    Sick dude, nice pics. have you tried LiVES or Cinelerra?? LiVES seems like a good balance between ease of use and good option set… and cinelerra just seems like it could match if not beat may of the proprietary programs out there. Then again I’m no expert.. what do you think?

    Last time I tried Cinelerra it was very buggy. But it it the most feature-packed.

    also, do you have archives of the old montages? i’ve been visiting the site since like 2005 and i’d like to see the some of the old footage that i used to get stoked on.

    am Computer sitzt Tante Irene aus Österreich. Heute wurde
    dein Großcousin Laurin getauft und wir hatten ein schönes
    Fest.
    Tante Ruth steht neben mir und gibt taktische Anweisungen.
    Wir haben deine Homepage angeschaut und versucht ein Hintergrundbild herunterzuladen. Mein Bildschirm zeigt leider einen verzerrten Mond. Aber vielleicht bekommen wir das mit vereinten Kräften noch in den Griff.
    Deine Freundin ist ein hübsches Mädchen – bitte grüße sie unbekannter Weise von mir. Vielleicht sehen wir uns ja nächstes Jahr wieder.
